Social inclusive (mobility-) strategies to upgrade the In_Formal City
Urban Ropeways
Mobility infrastructures and tactical interventions in informal settlements and their relevance for social inclusion are the main topics of this class. Thereby the role of architects and planners is of central importance to provide a livable neigbourhood environment in emerging cities. Practical examples of Latin America are to be discussed.
The class will be organized in March/April with four lectures and finalized in May 2025 with a practical part (research work).
This english spoken class is an integrative part of the module International Urban and Regional Development.
