Exkursion Stadt_Exkursion Wien 2024

The aim of the City_Excursion Vienna 2024 is to examine current projects for the renewal and further development of existing neighborhoods in Vienna, especially with regard to ecological and social sustainability. In the context of this examination, we will discuss not only the physical results but also the formulation of objectives, the structure of actors, tools for their development and other effects.

The City_Excursion Vienna 2024 consists of 2 visits to current urban development projects in Vienna Leben am Langen Felde (Hrachowinagründe) in 1220 Vienna and Spallartgasse / Theodor Körner Kaserne in 1140 Vienna on 2 half days in October 2024 and is organized as a course in the Master Architecture of the TU Vienna by the Department of Urban Planning and the Department of Sociology.
