Diploma seminar – Urban Design

Learning outcomes
After successful completion of the course, students are able to process their professional and methodical knowledge in the design, presentation and construction of urban spaces as well as the necessary scientific, technical, social science and cultural science knowledge in a diploma thesis.

Subject of course
The general content of the thesis seminar is to familiarize students with the methods and organization of writing a Master's thesis. The specific contents depend on the respective topics of the theses, which can be discussed in intensive personal discussions.

Teaching methods
The seminar takes place 3 to 4 times per semester. The diploma students present the respective progress of their master thesis and face criticism / feedback from colleagues and supervisors. The seminar is an essential supplement to the individual correction meetings to support the work process on the master's thesis.
