Module Metropolitan Research
City Climate
The urban climate research module focuses on the factors that determine the quality of time spent in public spaces - What determines a local urban climate? Do I feel comfortable here?
One of the focal points will be the climatic changes of the coming years and the question of sustainable and resilient urban spaces. In order to answer these complex questions, the module promotes a multi- and transdisciplinary approach and brings together experts from architecture, urban planning, transport, meteorology, landscape architecture and sociology as well as activism and spatial appropriation. The aim is to generate systemically linked knowledge and establish connections between urban planning measures and other areas.
In cooperation with the research project SSSEIC (TU Wien) and the Design Studio Supergrätzl 2.0.
