Design Studio landuni land:LAB
Design and Construction of a Mobile Participation Laboratory for Rural Contexts
How can mobile spaces be employed as tools for research, exchange, and transformation in rural contexts? What spatial, social, and organizational qualities are required?
This interdisciplinary course (Architecture + Spatial Planning) explores these questions through the development and testing of landuni’s mobile land:LAB. The focus lies on designing and realising a full-scale (1:1) spatial structure, collective decision-making processes, and its application in real regional contexts. Design, construction, and use are understood as an interconnected process subject to critical reflection.
