A resource-saving tool for innovative mobility?
Mobility infrastructures, affordable housing and tactical interventions in informal settlements and their relevance for social inclusion are the main topics of this class. Thereby the role of architects and planners is of central importance to provide a livable neigbourhood environment in emerging cities. Practical examples of Latin America are to be discussed.
The class will be organized as a block seminar in March with four lectures and finalized in May 2024 with a practical part: “Urban Ropeways: a resource-saving tool for future-orientated urban mobility?”
The class is an integrative part of the module “International Urban and Regional Development”.
