Design Studio Northwest Station

The Northwest Station area is undergoing rapid change, and with it the surrounding neighborhoods and districts. Over the next 10-15 years, a new district with apartments and workplaces will be built on the site. Over decades, a relationship has developed between the station area and its neighborhood, an “ecosystem” of interconnected uses. Currently, there is no comprehensive programming concept for the urban development area that represents a sustainable structure between the different surrounding urban realities. The goal of this semester is to develop a differentiated, strategic programming concept in exchange and cooperation with various stakeholders.
