Excursion Cebu City Philippinen

The port and adjacent market area of the Carbon Market in Cebu City in the Philippines, with its informal clusters of economic activity but also precarious forms of housing, is the focus of this design project.
In cooperation with San Carlos University and its students, as well as representatives of the city administration, we will develop various development perspectives for this central location in the city as part of a 10 ECTS design project and an excursion with a multi-day workshop (in English) on site in Cebu City.

The excursion will take place with individually arranged travel to and from Cebu, and the workshop will be held in Cebu from November 17 to 21, 2025. Costs of approximately €1,000 for flights (to be booked independently) and accommodation at the Montebello Hotel in Cebu (reserved) are to be expected.

The designs are to be submitted on January 26, 2026.
