Archdiploma 2023

The Archdiploma 2023 catalogue features 75 outstanding diploma theses spread across eight chapters, presenting a wide range of concepts, designs, plans and research results. The topics range from the conversion and revitalisation of existing buildings, resilient urban development and climate-friendly open spaces to innovations in building physics and new fabrication techniques.

The Archdiploma 2023 exhibition was organised by the Institute for Urban Planning, Landscape Planning and Design and curated by Almar de Ruiter and Manuel Singer. Under the motto "Curating the City", it was particularly important to us to make the exhibition, and thus TU Wien, visible in the urban space. For this reason, Archdiploma 2023 took place at several locations, some of which were empty buildings and unused spaces, as well as places where multiple use was the focus.
