Sebastian Sattlegger studied architecture at the TU Wien. He is currently working as a university assistant at the Research Unit of Urban Design, where he is involved in research and teaching on the spatial impact of infrastructures. His current work focuses on his dissertation entitled "Kontext Schienenräume: Die (Re-)Integration von Schieneninfrastrukturen in ihren stadträumlichen Kontext: Planungsgrundsätze und Entwurfsprinzipien". In 2020, he was awarded the Startstipendium for Architecture and Design by the Federal Ministry for Arts, Culture, the Civil Service and Sport. Prior to his current position, he gained experience in various planning offices in Salzburg and Vienna as well as in urban development projects of the Inter-American Development Bank in Central and South America.
