Dorothee Huber studied architecture at the TU Wien and at ETSAM Madrid. She has several years of practical experience in architectural offices in Vienna as well as international organizations such as the Inter-American Development Bank and the competition platform Europan. The focus of her work is strongly anchored in the urban planning context and lies at the intersection of architecture, urban research, participatory processes and artistic interventions in public space. Her work focuses on urban phenomena relating to mixed use, social inclusion and the productive city.
Dorothee Huber is a university assistant at the TU Wien in the Research Unit of Urban Design, researches and teaches on topics relating to the “productive city” and realizes her own projects in the fields of graphics, art and architecture.
