Emil Kranewitter

Emil Kranewitter studied architecture at the University of Innsbruck. He then moved to TU Wien and started the two Master's programmes in Architecture plus Spatial Planning. He has also been a co-curator at the Hofburg Innsbruck since 2019. He has also been leading workshops at the KinderuniKunst with a focus on architecture, art and scenography at the University of Applied Arts Vienna since 2020.

He is part of the architectural team that organises the interdisciplinary art festival — medienfrische in the Tyrolean municipality of Pfafflar. He also took part in the festival series Unter dem Pflug der Zeit/Nën braza të kohës — A theatre work in Kosovo and implemented architectural and artistic projects. He is an honorary member of the bankett — collective association for the promotion of sustainable urban space and VaM — the association for architectural measures.
