The research project deals with multilocal lifestyles (living in more than one location). The focus is on rural areas, specifically the study areas Gesäuse, Innviertel, Lungau and Seefeld. The aim is to show how opportunities and challenges related to multi-local lifestyles in rural areas can be addressed and which requirements and opportunities for action arise at different levels for different actors.
The research project is funded by the Bundesministerium für Land- und Forstwirtschaft, Regionen und Wasserwirtschaft. The project team includes the Technische Universität Wien, GemNova Dienstleistungs GmbH and Neuland21 e. V.. The project team is supported by local partners.
