Re-Root Rača reimagines urban living by integrating viticulture, urban agriculture, and local production systems. Vineyards, communally used farmland, and small-scale processing facilities are embedded within the urban fabric, creating a landscape that is both productive and socially invigorating.
The transformation is based on the revitalization of waterways and the redesign of street spaces into shared green corridors. These connect productive landscapes, public spaces, and neighborhood-based infrastructure.
Supported by blue-green infrastructure and targeted redensification, a resilient network of land uses, resources, and ecological exchange processes emerges within walking and biking distance. This sustainably strengthens local identity, ecological resilience, and social participation.
