Accessibility Declaration
The Research Unit of Urban Design of TU Wien makes every effort to make its website www.urbanism-tuwien.at accessible in accordance with the Web Accessibility Act (Web-Zugänglichkeits-Gesetz – WZG) BGBl. I. No. 59/2019, as amended.1
This accessibility statement applies to the website www.urbanism-tuwien.at.
Compliance Status
This website is partially compliant with conformance level AA of the 'Web Content Accessibility Guidelines – WCAG 2.1' and the applicable European Standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1 (2021-03).1 Exceptions to accessibility apply to archived PDF documents, as their subsequent remediation would represent a disproportionate burden. Also exempt is third-party content (e.g., embedded videos) and older office application formats published before September 23, 2018, as these fall outside the scope of the applicable legislation. If you require access to the content of a specific non-accessible document, please contact us. We will endeavor to provide you with the content in an alternative, accessible format.

Enforcement Procedure
In case of unsatisfactory responses from the contact option mentioned above, you can file a complaint with the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (Österreichische Forschungsförderungsgesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung - FFG). The FFG accepts complaints electronically via the complaints office's contact form.1
Contact form of the complaints office: https://www.ffg.at/form/kontaktformular-beschwerdestelle
These complaints are examined by the FFG to determine whether they relate to violations of the provisions of the Web Accessibility Act (WZG), particularly deficiencies in compliance with accessibility requirements, by the federal government or an institution attributable to it.
If the complaint is justified, the FFG must issue recommendations for action to the federal government or the legal entities concerned and propose measures to remedy the existing deficiencies.
Further information on the enforcement procedure can be found on the FFG website.
